I have bought two tables at Big Lots and I was very pleased with them. When I bought my sectional I was looking forward to many years of enjoyment. Unfortunately as soon as it was delivered I started noticing problems. The legs were scratched, there was a very annoying rope like thing under the arm rest where I sat. I went back to the store and spoke with the manager, showed her my receipt and she said she would get me some more legs and try to find a replacement for the section referred to. I should also say that we had a new trainee ring us up and he told us how long it would be before our delivery date. We waited, no delivery, went back to store and lo and behold we were told we couldn't get it because Broyhill had closed its doors so we had no recourse but to take the sample from the floor. The manager had a fit when she found that out.
Now they credited me the whole thing, rang it up again, gave us a small discount which ended up being no discount. UNBELIEVABLE So then I started trying to get set up with Allstate for my warranty. That was 2 years ago. I have a book of notes referring to how many reps I spoke with, which by the way, I spoke with "1" person I could understand. I worked on this for like 3 months and got a refund for one part of the sectional then nothing. NOTHING! The whole thing just about brought on a nervous breakdown. I just quit!!! I couldn't handle it any longer. So long story short, I now have three more cushions and the ottoman are all unraveling. So I am having to pay for something that is worthless!!! I wrote Broyhill to no avail. I wouldn't buy another piece of furniture from them. They would have to pay me! Stuck with no options and can't even sell it!!!!

I bought a Broyhill outdoor dining set from Big Lots (they own Broyhill). It's on its 2nd summer. It's kept covered in inclement weather. The table top is chipping and peeling. It's completely ruined. Big Lots will not stand behind their Broyhill product. Please don't waste your hard earned money on Broyhill.

We bought a hard top metal gazebo from Big Lots a few weeks ago and it was advertised as a 10 ft × 12 ft gazebo. When putting it together I noticed that it was much shorter than my previous gazebo, so I measured it. Come to find out, the gazebo was NOT a 10'×12' but a 10'×8' gazebo instead. This isn't a Big Lots issue because it was from the manufacturer. When looking on the box it says 10ft×12ft as advertised but when you look at the measurements on the box in inches it comes out to how big the gazebo actually is. This advertisement is very misleading to consumers and something needs to be done about this.

It was time to replace a decent but very uncomfortable wayfair couch so we shopped all over, looking at any budget up to $5K just to hopefully find one that our whole family could enjoy comfortably. After an entire day of shopping, we all agreed the Broyhill Fresno sectional at Big Lots was by far better looking and feeling than all the others we tried. It cost a fraction of the others, at $1200 plus 15% off so were able to get a 3 year insurance policy in case we stained it or anything happened. Now we hang out together all the time; big enough for the 4 of us. It is very well built, frame and fabric holding up superbly after 6 months, and my daughters and I even sleep on it sometimes and love it. We have owned and sat on a ton of couches, and this one is the best we’ve found. If and when it’s time for another, it’ll be a Broyhill.

I ordered a Broyhill Tripoli couch from Big Lots. The couch took 6 weeks to come into the store. When I got the couch home one of the legs was missing a stud so it could not be installed. The issue is with Broyhill not Big Lots because the leg was from the factory sealed in plastic. This is the problem with furniture being made OUTSIDE the USA. There is no quality control! I will not be buying another Broyhill couch again!

In 2009, I purchased a Broyhill sofa and loveseat. I had an issue with the thickness of the cushions, but Rothman Furniture at the time worked with me and Broyhill supplied all new cushions. Since then, I’ve never experienced a problem. In 2016, a friend of mine, purchased his first villa, and liked my furniture so much that he too, went out and bought the Broyhill sofa, and two matching chairs.
Three years later, I had noticed that the retaining wire that holds the springs together underneath the cushions was starting to protrude through the black covering. In doing so, it also started to dig into the cushion. Unfortunately, at this point Rothman furniture was no longer, and Broyhill had their issues. Two years after that, I noticed that the plastic springs used in the cushion were out of alignment causing a bump. This is odd, since when I bought it in 2009 it was a solid foam cushion. No springs were included. The question is why did they start to include springs? The price went up and yet the quality went down.
I contacted, what I thought was Broyhill directly, but it was actually was a link that was sent to Big Lots. They told me I need to contact the store or the manufacturer. Rothmans furniture is no longer in business, and Broyhill furniture, as it was is no longer in business. Big lots purchased the assets from Broyhill, which consist of furniture that did not sell. Of all the places to purchase furniture, Big Lots would be the last on my list. They lack the reputation of carrying quality furniture. They are equivalent to that of Walmart.

The couch is falling apart every single day. I paid a lot of money for this couch, and it is not nice at all. My kids have cut their self on the staples from the arm. Big Lots told me they didn’t have the legs for my chair or my couch so the couch is so low to the ground. It’s hard to get off of it. Is uncomfortable.

I have bought several furniture items from this location and never had an issue. I purchased a Broyhill Tripoli sectional and ottoman that is only a six months old and it looks like it's ten years old. Poor quality. I spoke with two managers at this location and was told they don't cover squished cushions. The ottoman has had the coil spring fall off. The sectional itself is sinking on one side, the arm rest on one side is now just a board covered with fabric and there is a staple or nail sticking out on one side. I was told by the managers to keep checking in...My warranty will be over by the time they address this situation. I asked if I could exchange it for another brand and was told they don't do that. I love the sectional just not the poor quality. I will not be purchasing any furniture there anymore.

But I buy a couch from Big Lots and the recliner chair. Do you know that not even 8 months out of buying it when you sit on it it felt so bad that you can't sit on it? They won't take it back. They won't give me another one no matter what. Do not waste your time buying any furniture from big lots. They are deliberately ripping 1600 dollars people off. They know their furniture is no good. Everybody has the same complaint about their mattresses about their couches. Don't do it please. I wish I had seen a review on this before I bought it. I lost $1 in furniture that a year later it's all trash. The box spring collapsed twice. The recliner chair fell into two twice and the couch you can't even sit on one end of it because it sags all the way down and makes a funny snapping noise.
The other stuff is very cheap and it's a sad part about it is they keep selling it like nothing's wrong with it. Don't waste your time please. I wish somebody would have told me. The sad part about this they don't even care. They try to act like they don't own Broyhill but big lots owns BroyHill. Yes I know that shocking but big lots owns broy Hill. Okay so they are the ones that beating us out our money. It's not broyHill. It is big lots so don't be fooled by them. Do not buy your furniture from there if you're smart.

I bought a Broyhill weighted blanket with a cover for my son for Christmas. We opened it up put the blanket in the McCormick blue cover tied it in like directions. By morning it had slide off bed and was all bunched in one corner. It doe not have sewn in blocks to keep beads from moving all over the place. I make weighted blankets so, I know that it should have channels to keep the beads from sliding.
